Welcome to Golem Integrative Creative Therapy

You deserve a space where you feel safe, understood, and able to express yourself. Whether you’re carrying the weight of stress, grief, trauma, immigration challenges, parenting struggles, inner conflict, or old patterns — or whether you’re seeking growth, clarity, and deeper self-understanding — therapy can meet you exactly where you are.

A Space for Conversation and Creative Support

The work is grounded in choice, flexibility, and respect for each person’s inner rhythm. Some of you arrive wanting to talk, some feel more comfortable working with your hands, and others move gently between the two. Therapy doesn’t need to look one particular way to be meaningful.

My Burnaby home studio reflects this approach. It includes two spaces: a cozy counselling room and a clay and art space, allowing us to work in conversation, with creative tools, or both. I also meet clients online across Canada. You don’t need to be an artist or have the perfect words — together, we’ll find a way of working that feels right for you.

Who I Support

Adults, teens and elders, who come to therapy with different needs, backgrounds, and stories.
I welcome clients who are navigating:

• Inner conflict or low self-worth
• Creative blocks or loss of meaning
• Desire for personal growth
• Children (6+) through clay-based expressive therapy

• Anxiety, stress, or burnout
• Grief and loss
• Parenting and caregiving challenges
• Immigration and cultural identity experiences

How I Work

My approach blends counselling, Internal Family Systems, expressive arts therapy, mindfulness, and clay work. Sessions are flexible, experiential, and paced in a way that fits you.
Therapy doesn’t have to feel heavy to be effective — it can be grounding, creative, and even enjoyable.

Clay holds a special place in my work. It helps reconnect body and mind, release tension, and express what words can’t always reach.

An Invitation to Begin

You don’t need to have the perfect words or a clear plan — just a willingness to show up as you are.
Therapy can bring clarity, relief, and a renewed sense of self, even in the middle of struggle.

If you’re ready to start or simply curious, you’re welcome to book a consultation.
This is your space to reconnect, heal, and grow.

Art and clay can reveal stories, emotions, and strengths that words alone sometimes cannot. Here are a few glimpses (shared with permission) from clients exploring their inner worlds.

Jasmine

Retired accountant

Decorative skull mask painted with black, yellow, red, pink, and brown colors, featuring black eyeholes and floral patterns.

“I had a blast hiding behind my mask! It let me try out new parts of myself safely, and now I've integrated them into my daily life. No more mask needed!”

Jade

IT manager

A handmade ceramic cup with a black and white abstract pattern and a red accent, placed on a white surface against a neutral wall.

In the quiet of the evening, a teacup rests,

As the golden sun descends, painting skies in hues of the fall.

Life's fleeting moments, like a sunset's graceful dance,

Embrace the heart's journey, weaving joy and grief in one.

Through seasons of laughter, and through sorrow's storm,

We shed tears of both joy and pain, in the circle of life's embrace.

For in each cry, a healing balm, and strength found in the breath of grace,

In the ebb and flow of love, we find solace in the face of death.

Nataly

Author/poetess

A colorful, abstract spiral painting with swirls in shades of red, orange, yellow, white, and purple on a green background. Art supplies, including paint bottles, brushes, paper plates, and a cup labeled 'HOPE,' are visible around the painting.

“I recently drew a map of my life, and it looked like lots of disconnected islands, each isolated from the other. It gave me clarity about where I am right now. It's like I created some space between me and my experiences. It's freeing and helps me see things less judgementally”
