FAQs
What kinds of sessions do you offer?
I offer two types of individual sessions. All are trauma-informed, client-centered, and tailored to your needs.
General Counselling / Therapy
60 minutes – $150 | 90 minutes – $190
Talk-based sessions focused on what feels most important to you that day. We may stay in conversation or, if helpful, integrate tools such as mindfulness, journaling, or creative elements like clay or art.
Expressive Arts Therapy (ExAT)
60 minutes – $180 | 90 minutes – $225
A creative, process-focused session using clay, painting, movement, sound, and/or writing to explore feelings and experiences that may be difficult to reach with words alone. No art skills are needed, and all materials are provided.
What does a session look like?
Most sessions begin with a check-in, then move into exploration through conversation or creative tools, depending on the type of session. We always close with time for reflection and integration. The process is guided by your comfort and goals.
Do I need art experience?
Not at all. Many clients are trying creative expression for the first time. The focus is on process and connection — not on making something “beautiful.”
What should I bring to a session?
Nothing is required. I provide all materials for expressive arts sessions. You’re welcome to bring a journal or personal items if they feel supportive.
Who do you work with?
I work with teens, adults, and elders from all walks of life — people navigating anxiety, grief, trauma, ADHD, identity shifts, parenting, life transitions, or creative blocks. My clients include professionals, students, parents, retirees, and artists. I welcome neurodivergent clients and those from diverse cultural, gender, and life backgrounds. Sessions are available in English, Russian, and Hebrew.
Are your services covered by insurance?
Many extended health plans cover sessions with a Registered Therapeutic Counsellor (RTC). I can offer direct billing through Telus eClaims where possible. Every plan is different, so it’s best to check with your provider. If you’re unsure, I’m happy to help you navigate the process.
Do you offer online therapy?
Yes. I offer secure online sessions across Canada.
How long will therapy take?
Every person’s path is unique. Some clients come for short-term support, while others choose ongoing work as therapy becomes part of their growth. We’ll check in regularly to make sure the process feels right for you.
What’s your cancellation policy?
I kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a session. I understand that life can be unpredictable, and I always do my best to notify you if something ever changes on my end. My goal is to hold a respectful, reliable space while also allowing flexibility when life happens.
Do you offer group workshops?
Yes. I design creative, accessible workshops for communities, care homes, and private groups. Please reach out to discuss options.
