This collection features a selection of my clients’ works, shared here with their permission. While many creations from Expressive Arts Therapy (ExAT) remain too personal to share publicly, I’m grateful to offer a small glimpse of the beauty and courage that emerges in our sessions.
Most of my clients arrive with little or no experience in visual arts or creative writing — for many, it’s their first time picking up a brush or exploring creative expression. Expressive Arts Therapy is a unique and powerful form of psychotherapy, rooted in a phenomenological approach. Rather than focusing on a final product, we invite the process itself to unfold. The materials take center stage, while mindfulness and curiosity guide the way.
From this process, insights naturally arise through what we call “harvesting” — moments of recognition, clarity, or even epiphany. It is an opportunity for the inner Self to step forward, gently transforming experiences of pain into space for healing, meaning, and authentic connection.
Every piece created is more than art — it’s a reflection of the client’s journey. It is a privilege to guide and witness these moments of discovery, resilience, and growth.
