“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us.”- Marianne Williamson

This is a collection of my clients' works, shared here with their permission. Although I wish I had been more consistent in taking pictures, many pieces from Expressive Arts Therapy (ExAT) are deeply personal and cannot be posted online. Nonetheless, here is a small glimpse of the workshop results and individual creations. Enjoy!

It's worth noting that most of my clients have little to no experience with visual arts or creative writing. For many, it's their first time holding a brush or exploring artistic expression. Expressive Arts Therapy is a powerful form of psychotherapy that utilizes a phenomenological approach. In this approach, we extend an invitation for something to appear, allowing materials and the creative process to take center stage, all while practicing mindfulness and curiosity.

The result of this approach is profound - it "talks" to us through a process we call harvesting. This leads to deeper insights, epiphanies, and grants your inner Self a chance to take center stage. Through play, experimentation, and discovery, we gently unfold and explore traumatic experiences, ultimately leading to finding inner peace, clarity, authenticity, and deeper meaningful connections.

Expressive Arts Therapy opens up a world of self-discovery, healing, and growth. Each piece created during our sessions is a unique reflection of the client's journey, and I am honored to guide and witness their transformative process.
